<b style="color: #93c47d; font-family: Verdana, sans-serif; font-size: x-large;"><i>New Space</i></b></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
It's hard to believe that 2015 is here already. Seems like Christmas flew by. <br />
If you follow <a href="http://www.thelittlebluehouseblog.blogspot.com/"><span style="color: blue;">The Little Blue House</span> </a>you may know that last year for me was all about selling our house (downsizing), buying a new house and getting settled in. My craft room was one of the first that had to be packed and purged to make the house more "sellable". So that left me little time and space to create for the shear pleasure of creating other than a few projects for the Blue House. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Everyone was so supportive during this process...I can't thank them enough.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
But NOW...</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Here's my NeW SpAcE!!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
It's not completely done - Need some serious stuff on the wall over my desk but its a start.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: right;">

<div style="text-align: center;">
I am going to try and change out the items on the shelves to match the season. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
The stained glass window in the picture is from the house where Dan's grandmother was born. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
The wire baskets were our dressers in the old house - this house has built in dressers in the master closet so I was able to use these for my craft space. The large drawers are 22" wide and then a 10" - Container Store has a 54" desk top that mounts perfectly on top. 108" of working space - YAY!!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">

<div style="text-align: center;">
Now that my space is ready to go I wanted to CHOOSE to do some creating just for me. I'll explain the all caps in just a second. I wanted to make the <a href="http://www.timholtz.com/"><span style="color: purple;">Tim Holtz</span></a> monthly tags. I wanted a way to display them so I decided to create my "All About Me Tree". Took an inexpensive vase and wrapped it in twine, found some branches and there you have it a great place to display the tags. </div>

<span style="color: #45818e; font-family: Verdana, sans-serif; font-size: large;"><b><i>New Challenges</i></b></span></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
This year I chose "CHOOSE" as my <a href="http://www.aliedwards.com/"><span style="color: orange;">One Little Word</span></a> to focus my year around. I was not completely familiar with <a href="http://www.aliedwards.com/"><span style="color: orange;">Ali Edwards</span></a> approach to this but decided to give it a try. My word "CHOOSE" - why? - Last year was about things that had to get done and this year I wanted to choose more of what I wanted to do. Choose a healthy lifestyle (see the miniature fork on tag), Choose to create, Choose to have God more a part of my life, Choose to leave negativity behind. As you can see from my tag,"Choose" appears in the bottom left corner. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Here are my January pages - I highly recommend you check out Ali's blog for more info</div>

<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjozZ7fejoqIiRCtOIskBjRVajJPPZ5AyUcDThur6SHNvbCsbrT5mhyYEP4afDfqD_p31xXu_92tZro135uxeiNk9zZTXVK13kMxo0yPOm1bkPSRm1cc8lJCOKlPuvHh3Sg94vsR7QAXDI/s1600/Let-the-Games-Begin-Icon.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="228" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjozZ7fejoqIiRCtOIskBjRVajJPPZ5AyUcDThur6SHNvbCsbrT5mhyYEP4afDfqD_p31xXu_92tZro135uxeiNk9zZTXVK13kMxo0yPOm1bkPSRm1cc8lJCOKlPuvHh3Sg94vsR7QAXDI/s400/Let-the-Games-Begin-Icon.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Here is an additional project I created for the new release Front Porch Kit - Game On. It is a minibook that I created using the mini clipboard that is part of the kit. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjpGNnKlxchoWTLFdmNnFjGFiTw0ojAfueaL8SMc_9Ny0Ck2SLBJM4WAgSiej3RddxhekPaWseZRjgL4uPXz3Mksum2WrNafne3rusYeg0ltF68-Wm_vbVdbxsdaIjNJ0mRobuM5vTNQMY/s1600/FPK+Game+On+094.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="290" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjpGNnKlxchoWTLFdmNnFjGFiTw0ojAfueaL8SMc_9Ny0Ck2SLBJM4WAgSiej3RddxhekPaWseZRjgL4uPXz3Mksum2WrNafne3rusYeg0ltF68-Wm_vbVdbxsdaIjNJ0mRobuM5vTNQMY/s400/FPK+Game+On+094.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
To create the bookcover I used the large playing card enclosed in the kit The red was a little too bright for the look I wanted to have, so I lightly sanded it, used my scissors to distress the edges and then inked with a little Fired Brick Distress Ink. The scallop border is the black and white checkerboard paper that has been border punched. The "W" and the "H" are from the alphabet sticker sheet that is part of the kit and the "Well Played" title is from the edge of one of the pattern papers. You will also get an entire bag of Scrabble tiles in the kit. The flower is 7 scallop circles that I punched from the crossword puzzle paper that is in the kit. I sprayed them with water, smooshed them, unfolded them and then placed a brad in the center. You then pull the circles up to the center and let dry. Once they are dry- Ink the edges with Fired Brick Distress Ink.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg84B5GDsbR_XHDbwyWQU6PmBvV32TauvwcpkcqLk1BtxrIMXBPfXW6jLHeq-Xy5e_pvWUvtPddbmHyskLRFbRgWFjhPceA1HpaQfK7l_5axp2bTzN1H06fWeG4LrvXYiM07d1IlVug4A4/s1600/FPK+Game+On+096.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="130" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg84B5GDsbR_XHDbwyWQU6PmBvV32TauvwcpkcqLk1BtxrIMXBPfXW6jLHeq-Xy5e_pvWUvtPddbmHyskLRFbRgWFjhPceA1HpaQfK7l_5axp2bTzN1H06fWeG4LrvXYiM07d1IlVug4A4/s400/FPK+Game+On+096.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Here is the interior of the book. The kit has so many cute embellishments that are perfect for layouts and books.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
So many great projects were created using the kit. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

I had such a great time creating from this kit. Here is a photo of the design board so you can see all the great products for you to design with. My favorites are the clip board, journal cards and pattern paper and I loved the flexibility of the Scrabble tiles. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

The flower is created from the pack of cards that is included in the kit. The petals are the back of the card and the center is from one of the face cards - I really liked the vibrant colors of the face card.</div>

<span style="font-size: large;"></span> </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-size: large;">Say Cheese ...and How Did She Get That Color??!!</span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I had such a great time creating from this kit. Here is a photo of the design board so you can see all the great products for you to design with. My favorites are the grunge camera, word balloon and pattern paper and I loved how the letter thickers looked smashed into the SnowTex. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Ohhh and the FABRICS!!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-KuTY-wpCqIc/UTTgyTaTBGI/AAAAAAAAC8Q/lP6sNhCb-eE/s1600/Say+Cheese+Design+Board+and+Projects+001.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-KuTY-wpCqIc/UTTgyTaTBGI/AAAAAAAAC8Q/lP6sNhCb-eE/s400/Say+Cheese+Design+Board+and+Projects+001.JPG" width="297" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
For the post today I thought I would share a funny story about the camera on the front of</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
"A Day in the Life of Me" minibook.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-tqSpw0UV8Hc/UTTg1QY8IlI/AAAAAAAAC9A/Fehs6RgtHHI/s1600/Say+Cheese+Design+Board+and+Projects+068.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-tqSpw0UV8Hc/UTTg1QY8IlI/AAAAAAAAC9A/Fehs6RgtHHI/s640/Say+Cheese+Design+Board+and+Projects+068.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I am not sure what the issue is with me and FPK's and multiple layers of product...</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
My original inspiration was this flower from theTim Holtz blog</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiDBpL0I-IGoNa0xdwy6BL3fnws2i5dJAPjv1w0vYS3jD-tA8f33OZRJwQp4EWOd2hC2gDutJpznX7MU94p5VGLqs73IN-oLgIBz8_urTFrRrN5OhGa7Qvtai29jK8QAmR-Hx3ZGPm8atc/s1600/DSC05114.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiDBpL0I-IGoNa0xdwy6BL3fnws2i5dJAPjv1w0vYS3jD-tA8f33OZRJwQp4EWOd2hC2gDutJpznX7MU94p5VGLqs73IN-oLgIBz8_urTFrRrN5OhGa7Qvtai29jK8QAmR-Hx3ZGPm8atc/s320/DSC05114.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I thought it would be really cool to have a funky camera. I started off with paint dabbers of various colors. It just seemed too bright - so I added some Vintage Photo Disress ink - now it just looked dirty. Decided to change course - I painted over the camera with some Expresso Metallic paint - too flat. Next sanded that hoping for a varigated look - that didn't look right so I added some Distress ink .Still not the look I wanted. Nope - hated it. I thought maybe I should just start over - but I didn't have the die at home and my project was due the next day. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Hmmm....</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Clean it all off - Ok lets try Windex. Yep grabbed a towel and scrubbed away. There was some paint that stayed on which was fine. Boy Grunge Board can really take a beating. I finally decided on Verday paint. If you are not familar this a product from Ten Second Studios. You apply the paint and then spray with an activator that starts the patina process. Check the <a href="http://www.thelittlebluehouseblog.blogspot.com/">Little Blue House</a> website for classes on how to use this product. Sanded it an then used some Vintage Photo and Black Soot Distress ink. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I finally like it!!!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
So the next time you see a project and wonder how they got that color....</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
you can smile knowing there might be more to the story!!</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Next is a recipe book I created using the pocket folders. The cover features some of the fabrics from the kit and the interior is the bright polka dots. The recipe cards were downloaded from a free sight. I loved that the colors coordinated with the kit papers.</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
And finally my favorite project is a minibook entitled</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
"A Day in the Life of Me"</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I had such a great time creating this project and there was even a non planned page about coffee and cookies. You'll have to check in later to hear about that It seems when it comes to the Front Porch Kit I have a story about the design process. Let me just say this for today - Grunge board can really take a beating, scrubbing, painting, removing and repeating and still hold up incredibly well. The papers and embellishments were perfect for this ecclectic type of minibook. I hope it inspires you to create a book about what you enjoy doing each day. I feel so blessed to be able to do what I love so much and also to have family and friends who make each day in my life a blessing.</div>

First cut a 3 1/2"ticket from chipboard - I used Fabulous Finds Cricut cartridge. Also cut a 1 1/4" star. You will also need to cut printed paper for the back of the ticket. Die cut reindeer from chip board.</blockquote>
<blockquote class="tr_bq">
Paint star, reindeer and ticket with Bleached Sand Paint.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-Z2QpuRTEr2M/UKSEu2zuuHI/AAAAAAAACqw/wXQbg4ushuI/s1600/19.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-Z2QpuRTEr2M/UKSEu2zuuHI/AAAAAAAACqw/wXQbg4ushuI/s320/19.JPG" width="239" /></a></div>
After paint is dry apply metallic stains. Gold to the Star and ticket and Bronze to the reindeer.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-kVnIsQJtDTE/UKSEtiPLeBI/AAAAAAAACqg/ahFxRQaMiTk/s1600/17.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="239" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-kVnIsQJtDTE/UKSEtiPLeBI/AAAAAAAACqg/ahFxRQaMiTk/s320/17.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
Apply Glossy accents to the star and coat with glitter. Put a light coat of paint on the stamp and stamp on the reindeer. Let Dry.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-Tjto22u4QQU/UKSEuOI39gI/AAAAAAAACqk/F28x2V0pUus/s1600/18.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="239" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-Tjto22u4QQU/UKSEuOI39gI/AAAAAAAACqk/F28x2V0pUus/s320/18.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
Using the Mini 8 Punch from WR Memory Keepers punch the 6x6 paper into a circle. You can also use any 6" decorative circle. Ink the paper on both sides - I used Peeled Paint and Pine Needle. Also ink over the stamp on the reindeer and the edges of the ticket. You can see how the ink transforms the paper.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/--MgDDrBUUaI/UKSErz7zbjI/AAAAAAAACqA/Ad8Ze0OCdKQ/s1600/14.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="239" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/--MgDDrBUUaI/UKSErz7zbjI/AAAAAAAACqA/Ad8Ze0OCdKQ/s320/14.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
Cut the circle in half. The first fold is abot a third of the way up the straight edge.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-rdXrL2w_hmw/UKSErdHQ69I/AAAAAAAACp4/CzwVp8dat5A/s1600/13.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-rdXrL2w_hmw/UKSErdHQ69I/AAAAAAAACp4/CzwVp8dat5A/s320/13.JPG" width="239" /></a></div>
Now fold that piece back to straight edge to form a cone shape.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-BXqhh5aPZCg/UKSErRTbGaI/AAAAAAAACqE/4fviCxSWGug/s1600/12.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-BXqhh5aPZCg/UKSErRTbGaI/AAAAAAAACqE/4fviCxSWGug/s320/12.JPG" width="239" /></a></div>
Fold the large piece back so straight edges match up and you have a tree shape.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-SX219laQd_A/UKSEqigb_BI/AAAAAAAACps/lVPkUAyvzgc/s1600/11.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-SX219laQd_A/UKSEqigb_BI/AAAAAAAACps/lVPkUAyvzgc/s320/11.JPG" width="239" /></a></div>
Paint the Cristal Twinkle Glaze onto the front of the tree.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-w_729ADwZ5A/UKSEqFxjxOI/AAAAAAAACpg/5w9997fgb6Y/s1600/10.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-w_729ADwZ5A/UKSEqFxjxOI/AAAAAAAACpg/5w9997fgb6Y/s320/10.JPG" width="239" /></a></div>
Add the glitter star to the top of the tree. Apply trim to the reindeer neck. Make bow from gold thread. Thread jingle bells onto piece of thread and tie around center of bow.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-PCI57OXGcow/UKSE0_tSvNI/AAAAAAAACsc/jB33724QHXw/s1600/9.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="239" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-PCI57OXGcow/UKSE0_tSvNI/AAAAAAAACsc/jB33724QHXw/s320/9.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
Die cut 2 pinecones and 5 pieces of greenery from die. Also cut out 3 holly leaves. You can use a die , Cricut or free hand these. Ink Greenery with Pine Needle ink and a little Twig ink. Form pinecones. If you have not used this die there is a video on the Tim Holtz blog or YouTube that tells you how to make them. Apply a little white paint to the edges to look like snow.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-7ClDd7ZOCQI/UKSEz59LqTI/AAAAAAAACsM/3kijYcwSCMM/s1600/7.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-7ClDd7ZOCQI/UKSEz59LqTI/AAAAAAAACsM/3kijYcwSCMM/s320/7.JPG" width="239" /></a></div>
Emboss the acrylic and attach to the back of the chip board ticket. Place the printed paper ticket over the top of the acrylic. Apply Diamond stickes to the embossed area.<br />

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Here is a picture of the two ornaments I created.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I used a paper mache ornament and fabulous Washi Paper. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Both are in stock at the Little Blue House.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-13mXG715s_0/UKHg2sNT8TI/AAAAAAAACns/Nrlz4jUclHA/s1600/2.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-13mXG715s_0/UKHg2sNT8TI/AAAAAAAACns/Nrlz4jUclHA/s400/2.JPG" width="298" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Here are all the beautiful colors of Washi Paper.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-W4AgQHyniog/UKHgzgaFbQI/AAAAAAAACmg/3ldDTxPQPHM/s1600/1.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-W4AgQHyniog/UKHgzgaFbQI/AAAAAAAACmg/3ldDTxPQPHM/s320/1.JPG" width="239" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Supplies you will need to create this ornament.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Paper Mache Ornament</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Washi Paper</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Glossy Accents or Diamond Glaze</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Glitter - I used Halo Glitter (available at LBH)</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Paint</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Bling for center</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Ribbon -about a yard of two colors</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Hot Glue or Tacky Glue</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Copy Paper</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-LD7qBCzb60Y/UKHg1v9EiCI/AAAAAAAACng/MqIrCIKvmMk/s1600/18.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-LD7qBCzb60Y/UKHg1v9EiCI/AAAAAAAACng/MqIrCIKvmMk/s320/18.JPG" width="239" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
First paint the ornament and after it is dry pull out the hanger. It is best to use white paint as the Washi paper is translucent and if the paint color is too dark the pattern is muted.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-1w_RAana3jY/UKHg2glvIVI/AAAAAAAACnw/10kSvwDbY9A/s1600/20.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-1w_RAana3jY/UKHg2glvIVI/AAAAAAAACnw/10kSvwDbY9A/s320/20.JPG" width="239" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Next take a about a 4" square of copy paper and press it onto one of the sections of the ornament. I outlined the fold marks so it would be easier for you to see. Cut out the section- you will use this as a template.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-IfD8XZNs-38/UKHg1wbmVFI/AAAAAAAACnc/l1gZmSSk6RE/s1600/19.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-IfD8XZNs-38/UKHg1wbmVFI/AAAAAAAACnc/l1gZmSSk6RE/s320/19.JPG" width="239" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
This is what your template should look like.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-PJNOkav7IUc/UKHg08eBE3I/AAAAAAAACnM/KE-bFFaaoa4/s1600/16.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-PJNOkav7IUc/UKHg08eBE3I/AAAAAAAACnM/KE-bFFaaoa4/s320/16.JPG" width="238" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Trace the template twelve times onto the back of the Washi paper. If you place them like the picture below it takes less time to cut them out and you will maximize your Washi paper.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-45f89akwHpA/UKHg0XR9cmI/AAAAAAAACm8/dzLlP12ReQA/s1600/14.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="239" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-45f89akwHpA/UKHg0XR9cmI/AAAAAAAACm8/dzLlP12ReQA/s320/14.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Cut out the pieces. Oops I am missing one - there should be twelve.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-Q-9gLrEIKqI/UKHg0gN3mVI/AAAAAAAACnE/k3UfWe7BF-s/s1600/13.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-Q-9gLrEIKqI/UKHg0gN3mVI/AAAAAAAACnE/k3UfWe7BF-s/s320/13.JPG" width="239" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Peel the backing off the Washi paper and place onto the ornament. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Start from the center and work out. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-AAe5vHzUW48/UKHgz20Oi7I/AAAAAAAACmw/hw_b6H3GHdw/s1600/12.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-AAe5vHzUW48/UKHgz20Oi7I/AAAAAAAACmw/hw_b6H3GHdw/s320/12.JPG" width="239" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Cut a small slit as shown below and press onto ornament. The paper is so flexible you don't have to worry about it creasing and if it does it flattens out great. Try not to have the paper overlap too much as it clouds the pattern. Also these ornaments are not perfectly symmetrical so you may have to trim a little off some of the pieces.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-vwvjsEpVObg/UKHgzYxcR_I/AAAAAAAACmc/dG1YkL2BOrs/s1600/11.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-vwvjsEpVObg/UKHgzYxcR_I/AAAAAAAACmc/dG1YkL2BOrs/s320/11.JPG" width="239" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Cover the entire ornament on both sides</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-rOxwmvFqj6E/UKHgzkoDaAI/AAAAAAAACmk/PLGEFGpxCzo/s1600/10.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-rOxwmvFqj6E/UKHgzkoDaAI/AAAAAAAACmk/PLGEFGpxCzo/s320/10.JPG" width="239" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Now for the FABULOUS FUN - Apply Glossy Accents on the edges of the ornament and apply Halo Glitter. I wish the pictures could show how GLITTERY GORGEOUS it is .Let the first side dry and then apply to the back. Tap off excess glitter. I went into the garage and blew off additional excess. You can also use a paint brush to brush away excess once the glossy is dry. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-0p8xbsnnr3M/UKHg8l2EHDI/AAAAAAAACpA/BpednN2cAHM/s1600/9.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-0p8xbsnnr3M/UKHg8l2EHDI/AAAAAAAACpA/BpednN2cAHM/s320/9.JPG" width="239" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="color: black; font-family: "Comic Sans MS"; font-size: 14pt; mso-ansi-language: EN-US; mso-bidi-font-family: "Times New Roman"; mso-bidi-language: AR-SA; mso-fareast-font-family: "Times New Roman"; mso-fareast-language: EN-US;"></span><br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-tt6UQ3n-20Q/UKHg69QDSaI/AAAAAAAACow/NeLWCLdC3O4/s1600/7.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-tt6UQ3n-20Q/UKHg69QDSaI/AAAAAAAACow/NeLWCLdC3O4/s320/7.JPG" width="239" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I used hot glue to add center embellishment. Make a bow and hanger out of the ribbon and attach with glue gun. On this one I used a felt Flower with a gem in the center.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-XubBudlzuqE/UKHg41KKIwI/AAAAAAAACoY/BRvuNI_xe8E/s1600/4.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-XubBudlzuqE/UKHg41KKIwI/AAAAAAAACoY/BRvuNI_xe8E/s320/4.JPG" width="239" /></a></div>
On this ornament I used one of the metal flowers from Momenta (available at LBH).<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-ktEBwFJy3kE/UKHg511Ck0I/AAAAAAAACog/qy6oNy01BB8/s1600/5.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-ktEBwFJy3kE/UKHg511Ck0I/AAAAAAAACog/qy6oNy01BB8/s320/5.JPG" width="239" /></a></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
Please give this Washi Tape a try. You will really love it. To win one one of these ornaments post a comment and tell me what is the first ornament you put on your tree each year and why it is so special. The first one we put on is the very first ornament we bought as a couple. We bought it at The Christmas Place in Ft Lauderdale. The store was owned by Lynn Howell and she had a parking place that was labeled "Mrs. Howell" - when I went to the store if she wasn't there I would park in the spot - Figured, Hey it has my name on it!! </div>

I hope you have a Blessed Holiday Season. </div>

<div style="text-align: center;">
I thought for this post I would share some of the techniques I used on the</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
"A Day at The Beach" layout I created from the kit. First I must say you will be amazed at how much product you will find in this kit. Make sure you check out the design board at </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<a href="http://www.thelittlebluehouseblog.blogspot.com/">The Little Blue House</a> or on the website </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<a href="http://www.thelittlebluehouseonline.com/">The Little Blue House Online</a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Here is a picture of the layout</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj0qWgUmaGIrQNQxgO4CSJ_OMzKaGgd48-y36Ud_VlMI44lIlb6LKi0hwlVmQBqElVKNXn9dkVXb-2rKYLT07Mnl9d8VkA9WAepYcZVdQ_PAmSrf_cdumAZsmC_jWMwWAxbFRJ8Hc7e-ak/s1600/layout.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="211" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj0qWgUmaGIrQNQxgO4CSJ_OMzKaGgd48-y36Ud_VlMI44lIlb6LKi0hwlVmQBqElVKNXn9dkVXb-2rKYLT07Mnl9d8VkA9WAepYcZVdQ_PAmSrf_cdumAZsmC_jWMwWAxbFRJ8Hc7e-ak/s400/layout.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
The first technique I will share is for the word "day". It is actually the chipboard word "Play" from the minialbum in the kit. I cut it apart and turned the "P" upside down to create the "d". I then used the side of my Glossy Accents bottle and rounded the "A" off. You lose the "L" by doing this but that was ok with me. I painted the letters white with the Ranger SnoCap paint dabber. After that dried I covered them with Diamond Stickles. That has to dry for about an hour or so. While the Stickles was drying I took the length of the clear tubing and snipped it into generous 1/4" lengths - no I didn't measure - just snipped away. Careful you need good scissors - I used my Tonics-and watch it the pieces may fly as you cut them. Once they were all snipped I separated them into four piles. I then got four sandwich size baggies and loaded them in. To color the tubing I used Ranger Alcohol Inks. I used Sunset Orange, Sunshine Yellow, Bottle (blue) and Citrus (green). I squirted a few drops of each color in the bags - one color per bag. I mooshed (technical term) the tubing bits and ink until I reached the right color intensity. Dump them out onto a craft mat to dry. and this is what you get - they look like candy don't they??!!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgRQ27o7vIovSMx6rXy0x4dX8SPTAJh4bTAY4L6h8aWdd8atMdYbydFGDO931KulMVJDWkFZ1Ghi4o6dqu1NewTAQq6DkqehZP59l2szZ3cGVTNNK7UBXTkRy8bIcIqI3yG38n6uf28ksE/s1600/layout4.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgRQ27o7vIovSMx6rXy0x4dX8SPTAJh4bTAY4L6h8aWdd8atMdYbydFGDO931KulMVJDWkFZ1Ghi4o6dqu1NewTAQq6DkqehZP59l2szZ3cGVTNNK7UBXTkRy8bIcIqI3yG38n6uf28ksE/s320/layout4.JPG" width="238" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Once the Stickles dries on the letters coat a small section with a generous amount of Glossy accents. Place the colored tubing in a random pattern. Once they are all placed I went back and added just a little bit more Glossy Accents around some of the pieces. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Let this dry for an hour or so. Isn't it beautiful??</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
It reminded me of intertubes. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj-hBDsOgBvX-_fYC39DVu7698DgvP7G4aYvCDymRylRDNiFkmmQoo-3GyKNTfci6w3GHFgaH1CeDa7T05gitDsmUkDkURlEh94_MlvDcixt2P55JzrKuGUwNOMKhDxWvEktlaTB3MoBgU/s1600/layout2.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="213" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj-hBDsOgBvX-_fYC39DVu7698DgvP7G4aYvCDymRylRDNiFkmmQoo-3GyKNTfci6w3GHFgaH1CeDa7T05gitDsmUkDkURlEh94_MlvDcixt2P55JzrKuGUwNOMKhDxWvEktlaTB3MoBgU/s320/layout2.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
The next part of the title is the word "Beach". I cut the title out with my Cricut just using white cardstock. You will want to use a font that has some surface area, I used Cuttin' Up. I then took a swirly patterned stamp and stamped the letters with Sno cap white paint dabbber. After the paint was dry I spread the title out and starting at the bottom I added the Distress inks. I used a blending buddy and lightly swirled it on. It works best if you use just the edge of the foam-you have more control over the amount of ink you apply. The colors from bottom to top are Tumbled Glass or you can use Broken China, Ripe Persimmon or Orange Marmelade would also work and finally Mustard Seed. Finally apply Glossy accents over the top.</div>

Here is one of the projects I created using this fabulous kit. It is a canvas that features my sister Elizabeth's adorable Golden Doodle - Bailey. Bailey loves playing in the pond at the dog park as well as playing at the beach with her Mom and Dad. </div>

<div style="text-align: center;">
I used one of the beautiful metal pieces, several of the trims, and crushed shells. The sand castle was created with the help of my sweet husband Dan -I asked him to draw me a sand castle and what I got was close to an architectural wonder. I used the sandpaper from the kit for the castle and embellished it with some of the beads that were also included in the kit.</div>

<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
So here is the the Totally Tacky Tie that I received. You have to love the Christmas Trees. I thought and thought about what to do with this beauty. As stated in my Facebook Post this morning my first attempt was a major "craft fail"!! I wanted to decoupage a frame to use with a Christmas picture...but contrary to some things I have read online my first attempt was just not pretty - the Mod Podge just darkened the tie and it looked blotchy. Thank goodness I used one of Dan's old ties to practice with. Then I was in the shower - I do some of my best thinking here - and it came to me. I had saved this tutorial on a "Prickly Posie " flower and I thought my tie would be perfect. By the way the complete tutorial can be found at <a href="http://www.frecklesandfun.blogspot.com/">Freckles and Fun</a>.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
They did a fabulous job on the instructions. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
First I cut my tie open and I was amazed at the inside pattern</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiionhRduncWsr2YmkaTkR4BXfYeJf23EOucfymE1fm1EEc1qhG3oLFWpoizZnF4HHsyhv1_L0JBwYIaFX6pE0juhx_qiham5r7oGdREJ5W221pE22P_vSCwgU7Z1HhB98NKbquirc8l1U/s1600/tie2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiionhRduncWsr2YmkaTkR4BXfYeJf23EOucfymE1fm1EEc1qhG3oLFWpoizZnF4HHsyhv1_L0JBwYIaFX6pE0juhx_qiham5r7oGdREJ5W221pE22P_vSCwgU7Z1HhB98NKbquirc8l1U/s320/tie2.jpg" width="239" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
The pattern is completely different from what I expected - so always check you might have a great creative surprise waiting for you. I cut 25 - 2" circles out of the tie. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Perfect for a 1 1/2" pin base. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
The circles are folded and then snipped and this is what you end up with.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjH7XX19uebh1nQ97GUZtUIUl-mNepZ5ITQ4C0a17EBgSLsbhEqjBp2Os_OKwu9b9y1Yr6iF_fQcHlsdbyozV7yWViZCCYkNG6a1ukTnnzKktfYw5Q480YvxpVnH6-DPp5V4t5_xhZXN_s/s1600/tie3.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjH7XX19uebh1nQ97GUZtUIUl-mNepZ5ITQ4C0a17EBgSLsbhEqjBp2Os_OKwu9b9y1Yr6iF_fQcHlsdbyozV7yWViZCCYkNG6a1ukTnnzKktfYw5Q480YvxpVnH6-DPp5V4t5_xhZXN_s/s320/tie3.jpg" width="239" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
You squirt a little hot glue in the center and then pinch them into a little bundle. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Start on the outer edge of the felt circle, place them around and around one row at a time.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
This is the great flower you end up with.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiwWX44Gp_51hyphenhyphenibxmbfkQYW4dFb5AiezwXA55dFSpeiLbbj0GBPamoEzyZldYQwgoy32cAhczmVevotEBhLZsH_1MqFQ-EC2MdZ6jZOB2BuRAA6w6G0hDxK6czL7raEk32IAYgMqpSez4/s1600/tie1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiwWX44Gp_51hyphenhyphenibxmbfkQYW4dFb5AiezwXA55dFSpeiLbbj0GBPamoEzyZldYQwgoy32cAhczmVevotEBhLZsH_1MqFQ-EC2MdZ6jZOB2BuRAA6w6G0hDxK6czL7raEk32IAYgMqpSez4/s320/tie1.jpg" width="239" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I was feeling rather festive so I decided to add a few jingle bells to complete the holiday theme. This pretty flower can be used as a pin or attached to a canvas bag, or even used as a bow for a package. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Thanks for stopping by. Make sure you check out the other designers on <a href="http://www.thelittlebluehouseblog.blogspot.com/">The Little Blue House</a> blog for their creative ideas. </div>

<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi_CDBjrk2Z4YBVr9VlnfB0D9kTJVKJWetuNdJYD6dbOBaopvTvg8Lq8yhkixqgM71z_gwjj2J5wqD9kou7y-uW-zcD7CImfFYg1hYD2F0L5M8Rv2Bm_AmIwl0L8Ejtyi9MYtRf3QxCd_4/s1600/fpk.GIF" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi_CDBjrk2Z4YBVr9VlnfB0D9kTJVKJWetuNdJYD6dbOBaopvTvg8Lq8yhkixqgM71z_gwjj2J5wqD9kou7y-uW-zcD7CImfFYg1hYD2F0L5M8Rv2Bm_AmIwl0L8Ejtyi9MYtRf3QxCd_4/s1600/fpk.GIF" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Who doesnt love playing with paper dolls? The Sew Artsy kit was perfect for just that. The dress form that is included in the kit was my inspiration. I originally thought I would do a mini book of different dresses but that just wasn't working for me. I often look through pictures when I "hit the wall" in designing. I found this picture of my daughter Kristen and her roommate Shirley playing "big girl" dress up their freshmen year of college and I was off and running.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgz8OopmVjhGsI8s9P7jXDSW_9VpJVHp4TPK39FtkhN6Uf-TW-w_Km0SgxcLHrQhNAqi5nk5-dyq0fK8JNkpW3p70lR59UG43NmVaIRmW55GQ_qOZVL9R4fP2dBSfbRK6CJcGpoUgKRnE8/s1600/SewArtsy-Howell-SoMuchStyle1-Main.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="197" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgz8OopmVjhGsI8s9P7jXDSW_9VpJVHp4TPK39FtkhN6Uf-TW-w_Km0SgxcLHrQhNAqi5nk5-dyq0fK8JNkpW3p70lR59UG43NmVaIRmW55GQ_qOZVL9R4fP2dBSfbRK6CJcGpoUgKRnE8/s400/SewArtsy-Howell-SoMuchStyle1-Main.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I took the dress form and traced it onto chipboard so that I could create several bases. With all of the fabulous fabrics that are included in the kit I was was able to create my dresses. Using a tacky glue like Helmar 450 on the form I just places the fabric on the forms and trimmed away. There are so many wonderful trims to use for embellishing. Here's a close up of two of the dresses...</div>

<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
On this dress I used the paint chip that is included to make her belt and made the ribbon rosette from the zipper. Her necklace is the little spool covered in you guessed it glitter!! and threaded onto the floss. Sorry I can't share more closeups but my hard drive crashed and yep...my photos are gone. </div>

Thanks for checking back today. The new Front Porch Kit from the <span style="color: blue;"><a href="http://www.thelittlebluehouseblog.blogspot.com/">Little Blue House</a></span> is just a couple of days away. This month's kit is eclectic, stylish, and chic. The creative possibilities are endless. Yesterday I shared my creative space - here are a few pictures of what I look like when I am creating. </div>

<div style="text-align: center;">
Hi bloggers..Elaine here. I hope you have all purchased your beautiful <a href="http://www.thelittlebluehouseonline.com/">Nature's Charm Front Porch Kit.</a> As you can see from the gallery the projects we created were amazing. Hope that doesn't sound to braggy but they really are all so pretty. The kit is jam packed full of great products. For my post today I was trying to figure out what to talk about. I am in the process of decluttering my scrap space and as I was trying to decide where to put my FPK remaining items it hit me...can I create one last project from my kit?? Yeppo and here it is..</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-RXEObD3RQQY/T2usoPdVsmI/AAAAAAAACbQ/3Tle8CqtbWM/s1600/DSCN5735.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-RXEObD3RQQY/T2usoPdVsmI/AAAAAAAACbQ/3Tle8CqtbWM/s320/DSCN5735.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I took an 11 x 14 canvas and painted it with an acrylic paint called linen. Then I took some of my mists (Maya Mists Green and Blue Hydrangea) that were in the blue and green families and while the paint was a little wet spritzed it. It was kind of cool how how the spray reacted with the paint. I had strips of papers left so I cut the ends in dove tails and placed them on the canvas. I inked the strips using Quick Quotes Green Tea Chalk Ink. I also had about 12 inches of the great big green rick rack that I added on.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-XxXaF96NrqM/T2usqswQjuI/AAAAAAAACbk/UUCyaTR97T4/s1600/canvas+5.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-XxXaF96NrqM/T2usqswQjuI/AAAAAAAACbk/UUCyaTR97T4/s320/canvas+5.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
The big giant flower was modeled after one that Miss Tracy taught on a project several years ago. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-QCeia2b044E/T2uslRiG-cI/AAAAAAAACa0/goDP-NzKnXA/s1600/DSCN5732.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-QCeia2b044E/T2uslRiG-cI/AAAAAAAACa0/goDP-NzKnXA/s320/DSCN5732.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
It is fairly simple to make. You will need six 4" circles and 12 long skinny hearts. They are about 1 1//4" across the top and about 3" long. You can use all the same papers for this one but I didn't have enough to do that. For my base I used the top of a ribbon spool I was getting rid of. First you fold the sides of the circles in like this</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-Tqv-ooNS_Ec/T2u4vImGWII/AAAAAAAACcI/nTvVrjoTbOI/s1600/canvas+8.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-Tqv-ooNS_Ec/T2u4vImGWII/AAAAAAAACcI/nTvVrjoTbOI/s320/canvas+8.jpg" width="240" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Then attach them like this - this is back side but it gives a better view of placement.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-Gq0p9FNc9t0/T2usoht32dI/AAAAAAAACbI/CTNa6hW5VBw/s1600/canvas+1.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-Gq0p9FNc9t0/T2usoht32dI/AAAAAAAACbI/CTNa6hW5VBw/s320/canvas+1.JPG" width="240" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Next you add six of the hearts to the center of the circles. The other six get sandwiched between the circles like this..</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-YIXLoqqxJwY/T2u4vhJJzSI/AAAAAAAACcQ/OC6hnayNIfY/s1600/canvas+9.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-YIXLoqqxJwY/T2u4vhJJzSI/AAAAAAAACcQ/OC6hnayNIfY/s320/canvas+9.jpg" width="240" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<span style="text-align: -webkit-auto;">Then put about three 1" x 1" cardboard squares in the center... big giant pop dots. This will support the center pieces.For the center I had a piece of the green fabric that was about 4" x 6". I cut it into four 1" x 4" pieces. Pulled the threads on the side to fray. I then ran a gathering stitch along the non-frayed side and pulled tight to form a circle. A quick stitch to tie together and this is what it looks like. (Yep those are my great craft pants underneath flower center. They are a work of art in and of themselves.)</span> </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-DzAjnulM9RI/T2usrRZ_uDI/AAAAAAAACbw/lmHCknQ3L8Q/s1600/canvas+6.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-DzAjnulM9RI/T2usrRZ_uDI/AAAAAAAACbw/lmHCknQ3L8Q/s320/canvas+6.jpg" width="240" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-EEC2wNTgm-I/T2usr_2kY5I/AAAAAAAACb0/Gr4vFpxSqmY/s1600/canvas+7.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-EEC2wNTgm-I/T2usr_2kY5I/AAAAAAAACb0/Gr4vFpxSqmY/s320/canvas+7.jpg" width="240" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I then took my button and added some twine to the center. Then I wrapped my yarn remnants around the button and lace that in the center of the big flower</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-3Fwf4d00-Ik/T2u8H15ybEI/AAAAAAAACcg/WS0_Eso4Ebo/s1600/DSCN5736.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-3Fwf4d00-Ik/T2u8H15ybEI/AAAAAAAACcg/WS0_Eso4Ebo/s320/DSCN5736.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
The butterfly is just cut out of paper and then I inked with Green Tea ink and Broken China ink then I used All Purpose Ink Champagne Mist from Stampin' Up. I love the shimmer of this product.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-R9Jk-4xeLZA/T2usnafjcfI/AAAAAAAACa8/8p9Wb7b-vPk/s1600/DSCN5734.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-R9Jk-4xeLZA/T2usnafjcfI/AAAAAAAACa8/8p9Wb7b-vPk/s320/DSCN5734.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
The Memories envelope is inked with the Green Tea Chalk Ink and some Broken China from Ranger. I put the journal card on a piece of paper left from the flower circles. I did have enough paper to cut a couple of extra hearts to add to the top of the journal pocket. The buttons on this part of canvas were from my stash. They are vintage buttons my Grandma had.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-KaJ8JwCLOkk/T2usmHRa_8I/AAAAAAAACaw/oMwrAKbtZyM/s1600/DSCN5733.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-KaJ8JwCLOkk/T2usmHRa_8I/AAAAAAAACaw/oMwrAKbtZyM/s320/DSCN5733.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
The sentiment strip says,"Lucky You're in My Life" and so I added this picture of my bestest friends. I am so blessed to have them in my life.</div>
